Oil & Gas Climate Initiative Reporting Framework

The OGCI Reporting Framework provides OGCI members with guidance on the key indicators to be reported yearly. Appendices include additional guidance on specific GHG emissions reporting topics. This framework documents a common approach in terms of boundary and definition, relying on the basis that OGCI companies already use the most reliable publicly available guidance for the oil and gas sector. These include, but are not limited to, guidance and methodologies developed by CDP, IPCC, GRI, GHG Protocol, UN, World Bank, WBCSD, CCAC, IPIECA, IOGP and API.
